# Code of Conduct

We are here to widen the field without turning it into either a tribunal or a fog machine.

Treat people, traditions, disciplines and lived experience with dignity. Disagree with claims precisely; do not harass, demean, threaten, dox, stalk or expose private material. Keep uncertainty visible. Critique can be sharp; cruelty is not a research method.

If a contribution creates safety, privacy or rights concerns, pause it and open a private maintainer contact through GitHub. Maintainers may remove public material that violates these boundaries.
